We have created a video detailing how to make the rope mods located in the product description.

I really like the flat hook cam strap on the steps
Very easy to fasten and pull tight . Way easier than feeding it through the cam every time

Learning to set it with out noise will take some practice that's ok then learning to place the steps with it not worried about it at all it will work just fine and alot lighter then what I had
The flat hook and buckle is good its fast easy and secure
My first 10 steps from bullman outdoors come with the amsteel and I like it better personnal preference
I will use flat hook and cam buckle that come with steps to hang my bow and quiver
Like I said they are both very good attachments my preference is the amsteel
Might but a second set up now with this strap. This is awesome and so quick, simple and quiet

Great product! I highly recommend you set your rig up with a repelling rope and a safety 8 to descend the tree. Steps are smaller than you will probably be used to and if you're wearing lose clothing it is a guess to hit the step correctly. It also helps to make stops as you descend to remove the Amsteel cord quickly. I will be ordering a few more so I can have a little higher height on ridge lines.
Im no tree step expert but I think the Origin steps will be a good replacement for a climbing method other than sticks, for me.
I went with the cam straps.
