Single steps cut out all the extra weight and bulk of the actual “stick” and only have you carry the “steps” you need. Why do you need the “stick” anyway? This gives you the lightest and smallest set up possible.
With nearly 15 years of research and development, and our 5th tree step design in 7 years we believe the Origin Step is as close to perfecting the climbing tree step as we could hope for.
The Origin Step offers stability along with ease of use. Combating side pressure along with hinging has been our main objectives.
We want to make climbing and setting up the easiest part of mobile hunting because killing deer is hard enough!
The Cam buckle strap gives you a seriously solid step and an outstanding value cutting out the high cost of Amsteel and the labor to put it together.

The platform step attaches exactly like Origin Step except the Origin was designed to handle hinging. The Platform Step has a higher tendency for hinging while climbing.

I have been researching saddle hunting for a couple of years now and finally bought all the gear i need, I just received my ring of steps and the new origin climbing steps. I am very pleased with how solid they are! What attracted me to them was the weight and compactness but they are also very stable and easy to hang.

The new Origin Steps with the Amsteel attachments are game changers! I have been climbing trees for years and I have used just about every climbing method…….screw in steps, Summit Buck steps, Lone Wolf sticks, Muddy Pro sticks, Out-on-a-Limb Double step sticks, Lone Wolf Custom Gear Double Step sticks and the previous version of the Bullman Step along with multiple aiders……to name a few.
The new Origin Bullman steps are far more stable than the previous version and seat very well to the tree.
Gone is the time you take at the base of the tree to remove your back pack, remove your sticks from your backpack, hang them on your saddle or rock harness and clank them up the tree. Also gone is the time you take packing up your sticks at the base of your tree before you head back to your truck. There is also a significant equipment weight reduction by eliminating 4 sticks, 4 cam buckle straps and your aider method.
I use two Latitude Method dump pouches and two of the Bullman pouches (hooked to my saddle or rock harness) to carry my tether, linemen’s rope, gear tree strap, and 12 Bullman steps (I typically only need 10 steps and my platform to get to 20 feet). I carry a couple extra steps in case I run into a funky tree or if I drop one while climbing.
When I walk up to the tree, I hook my bow to my retractable bow hoist and start climbing. My backpack never comes off until I reach hunting height. I save at least 20 minutes unpacking and packing my sticks.
Time to sell all of your climbing sticks and aiders!

So far its an awsome product fits good haven't had a chance to sit in it long but so far what I have done it has been very comfortable

Your dump pouch is great! Having the draw string positioned about an inch down from the top
keeps the string away from the opening when you are trying to insert your hand into the pouch. A much improved design over other dump pouches (Tethrd and Latitude Outdoors for example).
Ii’ve only had a chance to use them twice,been very pleased first time took a little getting getting used to, but the second time was much easier.
Great product still playing with them but so far works like I wanted them to.shipping was great and fast
Lightweight, durable , quick to set , and sturdy. I use these as mobile hang and hunt style , and I leave some as pre sets in specific sets of woods. Great product that truly does get rid of weak side shots.
