I gave them a try from the ground to break them in and i really think they are great! I think ill be upgrading from climbing sticks to the Bullman Origin steps as well! Excellent idea and a high quality product! I'm a fan!!
Perfect pouch for the Bullman Steps! I run two of the Bullman pouches on both my saddle and rock harness. Great quality! The draw string design allows for easy access and closure.

I bought 6 of the origin steps and have been blown away by the packability, function and ease of use. Small learning curve with foot placement but once you get it down, they feel rock solid. Definitely my go to climbing method in 2026.
I got the ring of steps first and liked it. Bought the steps with pack, thought it would be a great way to minimalize the whole system, working better than I ever imagined. Thanks
Have not had a chance to try them on tree, just got to see them today 12/23/2015. Wife has been in hospital from 11/28/2025, I maynot be able to try this season. But Thank You.
I have only put them in a tree twice but man they lock in great
I have a buzzard roost saddle that I love. Not crazy about the dump pouches. Bullman pouches are awesome they're quiet and they hold more material for me.
