Platform Steps Climbing Package
$ 259.99 – $ 309.99
For over 30 years now we have been obsessed with finding the most ideal way to climb a tree while mobile hunting.
In considering a climbing method, you will want to look at 4 components.
Lightweight, easy to use, easily packs and are there straps to climb or use.
Each of these adds a variability that either adds or subtracts from the method.
Let’s talk about weight first.
The lightest climbing sticks available weigh right at a pound. Thats 2 steps typically 17″ or less.
Our Platform Step and USA Attachment weighs just 4.2 oz. total!
That is the lightest step ever to hit the market!
4 of our Platform Steps with the USA attachments weigh the same as one climbing stick.
So basically, these steps are less than half the weight of the lightest sticks available, and also nearly half the cost!
How about ease of use?
This is our 5th climbing step we have created along with the 5th different attachment method we have offered for sale, not to mention the many others we have tested.
This combo is by far the easiest to get ready, the easiest to attach, and the most solid step we have ever used with the least amount of learning curve.
These steps will not “kick out” like a climbing stick will.
The stability really is hard to believe.
And Packability?
10 steps which can get you 20′ with a typical stride will pack down even smaller than the ropes and ascender for one sticking.
And that’s way smaller and easier to pack than any sticks.
Not to mention we throw in our Climbing Pack (designed to climb for the mobile hunter) for free along with a roll of Uncle Lous Stealth Strips with every climbing system purchase to make sure you can have the most efficient and quietest way to climb possible.
With a little practice with the Platform Step and USA Attachment, you can be well under 6 minutes to 20 feet.Thats fast!
It’s so organized and simple!
You can walk right up to the tree and start climbing. And then on the way back down you pack up as you go! And it’s faster on the way down than it is on the way up.
Not a single step has to touch the ground, which means less scent.
We have really put this climbing method to the test, and it has passed every one of them with flying colors.
With 10 steps to climb getting you to 20 feet weighing barely 2 and a half pounds! Thats unheard of.
It just makes sense.
Don’t follow the herd. Lead it!

Love my steps for the “packability” and the freedom to put a step where you need it every time. I do a LOT of moving around and have walked miles withthese and didn’t feel like I was carrying around anything.
I would recommend getting or adding a prusik tender with a ring to the amsteel attachment method. That would make you able to cinch the steps with one hand. I bought new prusik and tenders from hangfreeco to make things a little faster and easier.
